The fingerprint application products of north fingerprint algorithm won golden prizes four times at the Geneva International Invention Exhibition in Switzerland from 1990 to 1996. The north korean fingerprint identification technology is recognized as the most excellent all over the world. The automated fingerprint identification system for public security was highly evaluated via the technical check of the Research Institute (Quality Appraisal Centre), the Police Department in September, 1997.
